Mountain bike trails

The Te Iringa track is an amazing adventure ride that takes you deep in to the Kaimanawa Ranges. You get the opportunity to ride amongst some of New Zealand’s best native forest on a track that will challenge your skills.

Tramping Tracks

Head off into the back country with everything you need on your back and explore some of New Zealand’s great walks. Numerous tracks are available, from one hour to four days or more through beautiful Beech forest, mountains and valleys with plenty of wildlife to see.

Hunting

Hunt the elusive Sika deer. The Kaimanawa Forest is home to the largest population of Sika deer in the Southern Hemisphere.

Fishing

Lakes and rivers all offer fantastic opportunities to fish for Brown and Rainbow Trout. Great spots can be found within a half hour drive.
